Beside the Khmer food and cheap beer, the one thing I like most about my visit to Siem Reap is the foot massage. There are many massage parlours in Siem Reap, at the Night Market and near Pub Street. Usually, I went to the one inside the Night Market, beside the island bar where you could enjoy an hour of foot massage under the moonlight.
Yesterday, we decided to check out other foot massage near the Siem Reap Night Market before lunch. We were there at about 11am but many shops were closed. So we walked into the one that was opened, Dr Fish Massage, next to the Noon Night Market and opposite Cambodia Gem.
The weather was very hot and we wanted to have our foot massage indoor, in air-conditioned comfort. After the one hour massage, which included both foot massage and shoulder/back massage, I concluded that this place is value for money. The one-hour foot massage costs USD4.

Traveling Without a Return Air Ticket
I will be embarking on the most adventurous journey in my entire life.
Tomorrow, I am going to Siem Reap with my wife and 2 friends. We will play tour guides to them for their 4 days in Siem Reap. After that, they will return to Singapore and we will proceed to Laos.

People think that I am doing crazy things because I don't have a return air ticket and cannot tell them when I'll be back in Singapore. My plan is to travel from Siem Reap to Laos by bus. I don't know how long it'll take to reach Luang Prabang. I will stop over at Pakse, Vientiane and Vang Vieng. I will be spending 2 to 5 days at each of these towns and make day trips to see the sights, try the local food and meet the people.
