Exploring Vietnam

Next month I am going to Vietnam. The air tickets has already been booked, from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City. At that time when we were sourcing for cheap ticket to Vientnam, Tiger Airways offered the cheapest air ticket to Ho Chi Minh City among all the budget airlines operating from Singapore.

The plan is to arrive HCM City and then plan our onward journey to Danang, Hoi An, Hanoi, Halong Bay, Sapa and etc. Again, we do not have a return ticket and estimate that we will take 2 to 3 weeks for us to visit the 5 or 6 places in central and nothern Vietnam.

Why did we plan to go in March and not earlier?

We are leaving on the second week of March. I guess it is the beginning of spring and we can see the spring flower bloom. February is probably still too cold up in the highlands.

NATAS Travel Fair

Also, NATAS Fair will start on 24 Feb 2012 and we will have to visit the travel fair to take some pictures and find out what are the latest and hotest destinations on offer!

Lonely Planet's Road Less Travelled

I have been following the Road Less Travelled TV program produced by Lonely Planet. Unfortunately, Vientnam was not in the list of destinations. Otherwise, I would be able to follow the Lonely Planet's Road Less Travelled trail!
